The Arthritis Introspective 2008 National Gathering will take place in Las Vegas from Saturday, October 11th at 7pm until Tuesday the 14th at noon. During the weekend there will be events planned that are designed to be fun for
any ability.
As with the Tucson 2007 Gathering, AI will do what we can to help keep costs down for all who attend, including no registration fee and food at some of the activities.
This will be a weekend for people with arthritis to make friends and have fun. We hope you can be part of it.
The host hotel is the Palace Station, a beautifully remodeled hotel that is just off the hustle and bustle of the Strip. The PS offers free scheduled shuttle service to and from the airport and Strip, wheelchair accessible vans are also available free with a half hour lead time. There are fourteen disabled rooms at the PS, two pools and hot tubs, and eight eateries.
AI will have a hospitality room for the three days of the Gathering to be with friends or just relax and have a snack.
Saturday evening is going to cost 119.00+tax, both Sunday and Monday
night will cost $79+tax for our group. This is a deal considering the time
of year and the quality of the hotel. We searched to find a hotel that was safe and offered the most bang for the buck, the Palace Station is the ideal location for the Gathering 2008.
